Sophia Gordon

Sophia joined Meteorite in April of 2024 and is serving as strategic support for the variety of Meteorite's programs, most immediately the newly launched National Commission on Climate and Workforce Health. Additionally, she will be collaborating with Meteorite's Co-Founder, Steven Levine, to optimize his role overseeing Meteorite's programs and as Co-CEO.

Her journey to Meteorite is marked by a diverse range of experiences, reflecting her passion for social impact. With a foundation in mental health, Sophia has played integral roles in suicide prevention and substance misuse programming at the PK - 12 district-level and in higher education institutions nationwide. Prior to her current role, she has served as a content manager, a social impact coordinator within the events industry, and a volunteer tutor with The Petey Greene Program to support the academic goals of incarcerated and formerly incarcerated people.

Sophia is a born and raised New Yorker who graduated with honors from Muhlenberg College with a degree in Psychology and Gender Studies.
