Shameel is a junior at Harvard College, and is currently pursuing a degree in Social Studies, an interdisciplinary program in the social sciences. Originally from the small and beautiful island of Mauritius, Shameel has spent much of his life moving around, living in Connecticut, Nebraska, and most recently Boston where he attends college. At Harvard, Shameel is heavily involved with the International Relations Council, where he holds multiple executive positions, overseeing the coordination of some of the largest Model UN conferences both domestically and internationally.
Shameel first joined Meteorite during the summer of 2023 as an intern for The Choose Kindness Project, where he contributed to the day-to-day operations of the coalition and spearheaded a collaborative social media campaign to promote the TCKP’s newly launched resources. He continued his internship into the fall, and he is excited to return to Meteorite as a Strategic Partnerships Intern.
Outside of his work at Harvard and Meteorite, Shameel can be found sipping coffee (or any readily available caffeinated drink), pursuing his passion for photography, or simply hanging out with his friends.
