She spent six years at Fast Company, as the director of editorial strategy, where, in addition to managing the staff and the print magazine, she worked alongside legendary editor-in-chief Bob Safian to bring live events, awards programs, and other non-traditional content formats to life.
In 2017, Lori transitioned to a leadership role at communications and storytelling agency LaunchSquad/Original9 Media, where she was an SVP of content and editorial strategy, growing a team of content editors and strategists, and building owned content programs for brands in a variety of industries.
Returning to media in 2021, Lori stepped into the Chief Content Officer, and later, interim-President role at WaitWhat, an inventive digital media company responsible for groundbreaking podcasts like Masters of Scale with Reid Hoffman and Meditative Story.
