Jamie Vaughn

Jamie Vaughn (she/her) is a mental health therapist who finds joy in empowering others to live their healthiest, happiest lives. With a passion for gender equity, Jamie led theory-based and evidence-informed programs and services for the Women & Gender Equity Resource Center at Florida Atlantic University. During her time in that role, she built coalitions to promote nondiscrimination and disseminate information campus-wide. To apply her master’s degree in women’s, gender and sexuality studies in real-world scenarios, she obtained her Masters in Social Work in 2020 from Barry University.

Since receiving her therapist license she has seen numerous clients of all ages, providing trauma-informed, empowerment-based, solution-focused care using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and narrative therapy to support their path to improved mental health and overall wellbeing. With her background in mental health, equity, and advocacy, Jamie joined Meteorite to support the Health Action Alliance team in our efforts to build stronger, healthier communities through the power of businesses.
